Another year gone, just like that. It’s absolutely crazy how fast time flies. This year has been nothing short of amazing.

I’m planning on posting a personal & business recap of the year after Christmas along with my personal favorite recipes & posts, for anyone interested, but below are the top 10 most popular recipes, the posts that got the most visitors since January.

Before I get to those recipes, I wanted to take a moment to extend a huge heartfelt THANK YOU. Without you reading my blog, making my recipes, subscribing to my emails, hanging out on social media, and buying my books none of this would be possible. Even though I posted this in 2013, it still remains one of my most popular posts to this day. There have been several instances where I’ve met complete strangers who have seen this photo. It took the internet by storm, and is still going strong! In fact, my Ultimate Cookie Handbook was completely inspired by the crazy popularity of this post!

2. How to Make the Best Buttercream

I think it’s absolutely hilarious this post made it to the #2 slot. I absolutely hate the photos in this post. I’m planning on redoing them in 2017, that’s how much I hate them! But the video and recipe explains in full detail how to make the best simple American buttercream, and it’s now been viewed over a million times! I had no idea you guys struggled so much with buttercream and cakes, so it’s definitely going to be a focus next year.

Another recipe that has been insanely popular ever since I posted it. I think we all have a secret obsession with old fashioned doughnuts. I actually made this recipe because our local doughnut shop seemed to always be out of old fashioned doughnuts. If you haven’t tried this recipe yet, you must do so ASAP. It gets so many rave reviews and is such a fun baking project.
