A 1 1 I 1 BRISTOL VIRCINIA-TENNESSEAN THURSDAY AUGUST 18 1955 Argentina Warned Against Demonstrations BUENOS AIRES (IKS) Uh-tf! easy Argentina was under warn lng today that the government will deal atemly -with anyone taking part in public demonstrations against the regime of President Juan Peron- The warning follbwed two new anti-Peron outbreaks yesterday in Buenoa Aires which were broken up by black-jack wielding police tear gaa and fire hoses Minister of the- Interior Oscar Albrieu called a special news conference last night and blamed the disturbances on gangs of Souths who he said were incited by priests" and opposition party leaders Albrieu said 64 persons were arrested riots including 13 youths and he warned parents that from now young rioters would not be let off easily He accused Roman Catholic priest of fomenting much of the anti-Peron activities and warned they would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law if they did not stop He said the priests were acting as individuals adding that he was ready to turn over their names and transcripts of their subversive sermons to church authorities -Albrieu said the Peronista Party had re-entered Jhe political struggle because opposition parties had broken tire truce requested by Peron added however that this did not mean the government had abandoned its efforts to pacify the country Albrieu accused the opposition parties of "breeding by disregarding the truce" Both disturbances yesterday were touched off by anti-govem- ment groups attempting to font demonstrations marking the 105th anniversary of Argentine liberator Jose De San Martin R-R-R-R-RUFF the only word for tho nation all-' sling weather and thia Cleveland Ohio pooch la as dry aa tha bark on a dogwood all tho way doVn aa ha showing you Hopi quench that thirst with a glass and mayba follow it up with a growler -r Men's Dept First Floor 1 SALE!
