Eagles improve to 10-1 on Jalen Hurts’ rushing TD vs. Bills in OT: Will Buffalo be able to turn it around?
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts scored on a 12-yard run in overtime to defeat the Buffalo Bills 37-34 on Sunday. Hurts, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns, added 65 yards rushing and another score on the ground in addition to the game-winner. He now has 11 multi-rush TD games in his career, breaking a tie with Cam Newton for the most by a QB in the Super Bowl era.
The game reached overtime after the Bills took a 31-28 lead with 1:52 to play when Josh Allen found Gabe Davis in the back of the end zone with a 7-yard pass. Philadelphia then drove 34 yards in nine plays to set up Jake Elliott’s game-tying 59-yarder.
Bills QB Josh Allen was 29-for-51 passing for 339 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also had two scores and a team-high 81 yards on the ground.
The loss drops the Bills to 6-6 and 10th in the AFC playoff standings. Buffalo faces the Chiefs (road) and Cowboys (home) in consecutive weeks following its Week 13 bye.

Third highest fantasy point total for Jalen Hurts
Jalen Hurts has been a very strong fantasy point producer in every week sans Week 1 this year, but he still lacked a 30+ point game. That box is now checked off, as Hurts posted 34.5 points against the Bills, a mark that is the third-highest fantasy point total of his career.

The Eagles find a way, again
Following Buffalo's drive in overtime that led to a field goal, Philly then had its chance. Jalen Hurts and company, which has shown resiliency all season, went 75 yards in nine plays to seal the victory with a game-winning touchdown. And, fittingly, it was Hurts who ran it in from 12 yards out. Hurts now has 11 rushing touchdowns on the season, and his Eagles improve to 10-1 heading into an NFC Championship rematch next Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

NFL overtime rules refresher
A quick recap of the NFL overtime rules during the regular season:
- One 10-minute period
- Coin toss determines first possession; Each team will have a chance to possess the ball unless receiving team scores a touchdown OR defense scores a touchdown or safety.

- Game ends in a tie if game clock expires (no ties in NFL so far this season).
Jake Elliott is automatic from long range
Eagles kicker Jake Elliott’s game-tying, 59-yard field goal was Elliott’s third in three tries from at least that far.
Since he entered the league in 2017, no other kicker has as many makes without a miss from 59-plus yards.
Jake Elliott's 59-yard FG ties game at 31
Jake Elliott drills a 59-yard field goal, in the rain, with 20 seconds left to tie the game 31-31.
Fourth-highest fantasy point total of Josh Allen’s career
Josh Allen has helped get the Buffalo Bills to a lead in this contest and has done the same for many fantasy managers, as he now has 37.18 points. That is the fourth-highest fantasy point total of Allen’s career and has likely vaulted many fantasy managers to playoff contention, as the regular season in most leagues ends next week.
Bills regain lead
The Bills strike back. Buffalo caps off a 10-play, 74-yard drive with a 7-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Gabe Davis.

The buffet is open
The Eagles defense is starting to feast here in the fourth. They get to Josh Allen on third down for their first sack of the game, courtesy of veteran Brandon Graham — his third of the season. Philly takes over possession with a 28-24 lead with under nine minutes to go.
Eagles take 28-24 lead
James Braderry makes arguably the biggest play of the game, picking off Josh Allen in Buffalo territory early in the fourth quarter. Three plays later, Jalen Hurts connects with Olamide Zaccheaus for a 29-yard touchdown.
Philly takes its first lead, 28-24, since midway through the second quarter. Hurts has thrown three touchdown passes in his last four attempts.
DeVonta Smith making case as the go-to fantasy wide receiver for Eagles
Earlier this year, Philadelphia WR DeVonta Smith was in such a slump that fantasy managers openly questioned whether or not they should even put him into starting lineups.
That trend has changed notably over the past month, as today’s touchdown catch makes it four games in a row that Smith has posted 14.1 or more PPR points. That gives him a 15.3 PPR PPG pace since Week 8, a mark that is 16th in the league among wide receivers in that span and is within a point of A.J. Brown’s 16.27 PPR PPG (ranked 12th).
Eagles claw their way back
The Eagles answer the Bills' score with one of their own, marching 75 yards downfield in seven plays and capping it off with a 15-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to DeVonta Smith. Smith is up to 67 yards receiving, 48 of which came on that drive.
Buffalo still leading Philadelphia, 24-21, with 13:37 to play.
Josh Allen’s 17th game with 30+ fantasy points
Josh Allen is the type of player who can almost win fantasy games by himself, and that talent is on display again today, as he has generated 33.38 points by late in the third quarter.
This is the 17th time that Allen has scored 30+ points in a game, and it puts him within range of setting a career high in this category, as the current mark is 40.46 points that Allen posted against Miami in Week 17 of the 2018 season.

In the air: 23-of-39, 277 yards, one TD.
Bills lead, 24-14.
A.J. Brown restarts 10+ PPR point scoring streak
Philadelphia wide receiver A.J. Brown had been one of the most consistent fantasy point producers this season, as he had a seven-game streak with 10+ PPR points in Weeks 3-9, but that came to an end in Week 11 when Brown posted a meager 1.8 PPR points against the Kansas City Chiefs.
It was looking like Brown would have a second consecutive subpar game, as he had only two catches for 13 yards roughly midway through the third quarter, but his 3-yard touchdown reception gets Brown back to the right side of the 10+ PPR point bar, as he now has 10.7 points on the day.
