Introduction

You can equip one Alchemy Stone in your equipment slot, and then activate it to give you a buff for a certain period of time. You can use the (U) key to activate your Alchemy Stone once, or press the tick button in your equipment UI to have the buff refresh automatically.

However, each time the buff is activated, it will use 1 durability on the Alchemy Stone. When the Alchemy Stone reaches 0 durability, it can no longer be used. Some Alchemy Stones can be recharged to gain durability again, but can cost a lot, so I recommend unbinding your (U) key in your Interface > Action Hotkey settings so that you don’t accidentally press it. Then, use the tick button instead to activate your Alchemy Stone when you want to use it. Just make sure you remember to turn it off again afterward!

Repairing Alchemy Stone Durability

As you use your Alchemy Stone, the durability will decrease. To repair the durability again open your inventory then go to the Alchemy Stone menu by clicking the Stone tab at the bottom.

Click the Recharge tab at the top of the menu and add the materials and the stone, then click “Recharge”.

Craftable Alchemy Stones

There are 3 types of Craftable Alchemy Stones

• Destruction Stones
  
  • Buff: Attack, Accuracy, Ignore Resistances, Attack Speed, Casting Speed
  • Duration: 5 minutes
• Protection Stones
  
  • Buff: Damage Reduction, Evasion, Maximum Health, Resistance
  • Duration: 5 minutes
• Life Stones
  
  • Buff: Reduced Cooking/Alchemy Craft Time, Processing Success Rate, Weight Limit increase, Gathering level, Fishing level, Gathering Drop Rate
  • Duration: 10 minutes

All craftable Alchemy Stones can be recharged using the materials below:

Players with alchemy at apprentice level 1 or above can now try and upgrade all versions of alchemy stones. Place the ingredients into your Alchemist Tool in your residence.

The recipe to create an Alchemy Stone is:

• Shining Powder x10,
• Sinner’s Blood x3,
• Clear Liquid Reagent x10,
• Pure Powdered Reagent x10,
• Powder of Time x5

You won’t create an Alchemy Stone every time, sometimes you may fail and get a broken Alchemy Stone which can be sold to a merchant for 5,000 silver. A higher Alchemy level will increase your chances of being successful.

Leveling& Grades/Rarity

You can level your Alchemy Stone to increase the level, grade/rarity, or both. In turn, increasing the buff stats.

To level your Alchemy Stone you must put extra materials into it to convert it to EXP.

Open your inventory then click the Alchemy tab at the bottom to open the menu. You then need to select the Polishingoption and put the material in the top slot and your Alchemy Stone in the bottom slot. Next press “Polishing”.

Below you can see which materials you can convert to EXP

When your Alchemy Stone EXP is between 80-150% you can attempt to level your stone.

A higher EXP is supposed to have a higher chance of success, but after testing, the success rates comparing 80% and 150% seemed to be very similar. Therefore, it is recommended to only use 80% for up to Sturdy, then 150% for going above Sturdy/Sharp.

Select the Growth tab in your Alchemy Stone menu, and place a Black stone in the top slot and your stone in the bottom slot. Next press “Growth”.

Other Spirit Stones (Alchemy Stones) can be crafted when your Alchemy Mastery is over 500 points. The chance of getting a higher grade increases as your Alchemy Mastery increases, and unlike the other craftable Alchemy Stones, you can’t increase the rarity or level through polishing.

These Spirit Stones cannot be repaired and only have 20 durability.

Spirit Stones and Mythical Powder

There are 3 different Spirit Stones that can be obtained from monsters in Kamaslyvia. Each of the spirit stones has a green version and a blue version.

These Alchemy stones have a durability of 50 and cannot be repaired.

You can grind these Spirit Stones using Processing (L) > Grinding to obtain between 10-30 Mystical Spirit Powder.

Mystical Spirit Powder is used to repair the durability of some other Alchemy Stones.

Vell’s Heart

Vell’s Heart is the most popular choice for an offensive Alchemy Stone since it gives 3 sheet AP as well as item effects equal to a crafted Sharp Destructive Alchemy Stone.

Vell’s Heart is obtained by using Processing (L) > SImple Alchemy, on a Vell’s Concentrated Magic with Alchemy Stone Shards x1500

Vell’s Concentrated Magic is a rare drop from the Vell world boss, and can also be bought from the Central Market, along with the completed Vell’s Heart.

Alchemy Stone Shards can be obtained by Processing (L) > Grinding, the crafted Alchemy Stones (eg. Rough Alchemy Stone of Destruction gives x7 Alchemy Stone Shards).

Khan’s Heart

There are 3 different types of Khan’s Heart, each with different effects.

Any version of Khan’s Heart can be crafted if you obtain a “Khan’s Concentrated Magic”, which is a rare drop from the Guild boss “Khan”. Players can also complete a once-per-family questline to obtain a guarenteed Khan’s Heart of their choice.

The Khan’s Heart has 150 durability and can be repaired using Mystical Spirit Powder.

How to obtain Mystical Spirit Powder:

• Processing (L) > Grinding Destruction/Guardian/Life Spirit Stones

Perilla’s Star

Perilla’s Star is an Alchemy Stone that gives defensive buffs and has a passive DP +1 effect. It is an excellent choice for DP builds. Perilla’s Star can only be obtained by exchanging your Season Special Gift Exchange Coupon at Fughar, which is obtained by reaching level 10 on the Season Server. You can only obtain one Perilla’s Star per account and it cannot be registered on the Central Market.

Perilla’s Star has 150 durability and can be repaired using Mystical Spirit Powder

How to obtain Mystical Spirit Powder:

• Processing (L) > Grinding Destruction/Guardian/Life Spirit Stones

Tachros’ Spirit Stone

Tachros’ Spirit Stone is a useful Alchemy Stone for leveling alt characters since it is the only Alchemy Stone that gives Combat and Skill EXP. The Tachros’ Spirit Stone can only be obtained through the Season Server, as a reward for completing the Season pass or graduating.

The Tachro’s Spirit Stone has a durability of 100 and cannot be repaired.

Treant’s Tear

Treant’s Tear is an Alchemy Stone that gives buffs for different Life Skills when equipped. Treant’s Tear can only be obtained on a Season Character, or character that has graduated from the Season. The quest can only be completed once per family.

To obtain the Treant’s Tear, you need to complete a short questline starting at Fughar, that gives an introduction to all the Life Skills.

Grinding/growth is possible even with an improved alchemy stone, but if the growth level drops due to failure in growth, the improvement is canceled and the Blessed Soul Fragment disappears.

You can obtain an unenhanced “Blessed” alchemy stone and x1 ‘Crystallized Despair’ by extracting the improved alchemy stone with a Mirror of Equilibrium.
